Kevin J Haugk
July 1, 1976 - September 27, 2025 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Haugk, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world peacefully at home in Cortland, IL, on September 27, 2025, at the age of 49. Kevin was a devoted husband to his wife Stacie, with whom he shared a loving marriage for 21 wonderful years. Together, they created a beautiful family filled with love and laughter, raising three incredible sons, John, Ryan, and Jason. Kevin’s love for his family knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with them, whether it was cheering on his boys at their games, fishing trips, or simply enjoying an afternoon at home. He is also survived by his parents Don and Sally Haugk, siblings, sister Amy Haugk, and brothers Joe (Denise) Haugk and Tom (Trista) Haugk. Kevin was a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews: Peri (Nate) Innocenti, Amanda Haugk, Evan Haugk, Josh Haugk, Oliver Roberge, Mac Roberge, and his great-nephew Wells Innocenti. He loved each of them deeply and took great joy in being a part of their lives. Kevin dedicated his career to the electrical trade as a member of Local 701, where he was respected for his craftsmanship and work ethic. His colleagues admired him not only for his skills but also for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to others. Outside of work, Kevin was a man of many interests. He had a passion for Bears football, and spent countless hours fishing, relishing the tranquility of nature. Above all, Kevin treasured the time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will last a lifetime. A visitation to honor Kevin’s life will be held on October 4, 2025, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Yurs Funeral Home in Geneva, IL. In keeping with Kevin’s spirit, attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite sports attire—unless, of course, it’s the Packers. Kevin will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his generous heart, his infectious smile, and his unwavering dedication to his family and friends. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he shared so freely in life. For further information call Yurs Funeral Home Geneva 630-232-7337Guest BookShareEmailPrint |
