May 16, 1932 - February 14, 2025 Laura “Lolly” T. Smith of Coronado, CA passed away Feb. 14, 2025, at Michealsen Health Center in Batavia, IL. Lolly was someone who could see the beauty in anything and anyone. It’s appropriate that she died on Valentine’s Day. Devoted wife and mom, she was a true partner in every sense to beloved husband Al. She is survived by son Albert C. Smith III and granddaughters Catherine Smith, Jennifer (David) Gesiakowski, Charity (Andrew) Schnebelen and Virginia Storm. A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10-11AM at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave., St. Charles, IL, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM. She will be buried with husband Col. Albert C. Smith Jr. at Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, CA at a later date.
