Marina was born in Pangasinan, a province in the Philippines. She grew up in a humble home, a family of 11. Marina spent her beautiful life in the service of her family, friends, and the many people's lives she impacted with a kind heart. A strong-willed individual, as a teenager, she managed a small store that her mother opened after her father passed away to help support her family financially. She was a loving wife and a mother. Immigrated in the United States in 1991 with her husband and three youngest children. The two oldest children had to stay due to age limits but eventually immigrated after nearly a decade, by that time they themselves already have their own family.

Marina supported her family financially, stepped-up, and overcame life’s trials bestowed upon her. She was always by her husband’s side, would do everything to show her love and devotion to Reynaldo. Loved and cared for her children unconditionally, planted a root for generations to follow. Marina retired early to enjoy and live life. She continued to fulfill goals and helped people in need. She does not have plenty but was still able to lend a helping hand. She is loved by many.

She traveled back and forth to the Philippines with her husband and created great memories, including celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Renewed their wows in the presence of friends and families in the same Church they originally wed. A celebration her children and grandchildren witnessed. Marina lived a life she created and a life she was given by God. She fought a great battle and gave it all. But in the end, it was God’s will and heaven gained a beautiful angel.
