Mary Arena DeRosa
July 16, 1968 - August 26, 2022 South Elgin, IL – Mary Arena DeRosa, 54, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022. She was born and raised in Northwest Indiana and found her way to the Chicagoland area where she met her husband, Guy. Prior to starting a family, Mary worked many years as a school psychologist dedicating her career to helping children excel to their fullest potential. As a loving, dedicated and committed wife and mother she raised three beautiful children, Guy, Joseph, and Isabella, filling their lives with love and grace. Mary was loved and adored by many because of her kindness, beauty, and friendship. Mary is preceded in death by her grandparent’s: Rosario and Josephine Arena, Nicola and Maria Urso – Nephew: Arthur Cavalea II. Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Guy and three beautiful children, Guy J. DeRosa, Joseph DeRosa and Isabella DeRosa -Parents: John Arena, Domenica (Urso) – Sisters: Josie Arena-Wissinger, Rosie Jancich Stefanelli – Nephews & Nieces: Jasmine Wissinger, Jacob Wissinger, Roman Jancich, Anthony Cavalea IV, Alexander Cavalea, Roberta Cavalea, Michael Cavalea and Chantal Miller – Pets: Biscuit and Gretzky and several cousins and friends.
