Patrick Joseph Carney
September 5, 1961 - October 7, 2026 Patrick is survived by his wife Cheryl Carney; sons Patrick Carney, Jr. (Emily) of Utica, Illinois and William (Elizabeth) Carney of Plymouth, Minnesota; grandchildren Reese Carney, Hank Carney, Averie Carney, and Norm Carney. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents James and Maureen Carney. Pat enjoyed bike riding, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and playing 5:00 AM basketball. He was an avid sports fan, attending and coaching his sons sporting events. This continued through life as he was able to enjoy watching his grandchildren play softball, baseball, hockey, as well as swimming. Being a grandfather brought great joy to Pat. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 10:30AM. Services will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in St. Charles, Illinois. Created remains will be interment at Union Cemetery in St. Charles. A Celebration of Life will follow at Mio Modo restaurant in St. Charles immediately following.
