Rosalea A. Schuman Obituary Rosalea A. “Rose” (Bradley) Schuman, age 97, of North Aurora, formerly of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at BlackBerry Pines Assisted Living in Elburn.
She was born December 23, 1927, in Marion, the daughter of Walter and Gertie (Malaer) Bradley.
Rose was a long-time member of Chapelstreet Church of Geneva. She enjoyed camping and fishing.
She is survived by her sons Steve (Karen) of Hayward, Wisconsin and Tom (Dee) of Batavia; grandchildren Matt (Kristie), Eleanor (Aaron) Mertzenich, and Marion (Nick) LaLogia; great-grandchildren Hunter Funk, Riley, Matthew, Taylor, and Cody Schuman; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters, son Dennis, and her devoted husband Alvin of 65 years who passed away in 2014.
A visitation for Rose will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 10:00 until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva, with Brian Coffey officiating.
Burial will follow at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Chapelstreet Church, 2300 South Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134 or Northern Illinois Food Bank, 273 Dearborn Court, Geneva, Illinois 60134 would be appreciated.
