December 4, 1966 - December 15, 2020

Scott Mitelsztet age 54, of Elburn, Illinois passed away December 15, 2020. He was born to Harriet Pease and Zbigniew W. Mitelsztet Sr. in Chicago on December 4, 1966. He was married to Donna Mancini on April 1, 1995 at St. Mary of The Angels Parish in Chicago. He was survived by his wife Donna, daughters; Antoinette Mitelsztet, Rachel Mitelsztet, sister Julie (John) Lucarelli, brother Zbigniew (Michelle) Mitelsztet, Jr., nephew Michael A. Lucarelli, niece Gianna P. Lucarelli and nephew Garrett Mitelsztet. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Albert and Marianna “Bobbie” Czarnecki, his paternal grandparents Anton and Wanda Brzyszko. He was the best softball coach for both of his girls from pre-school to high school, with pep-talks included after every game. He loved donating his time to the league with anything he could do. He never got a son but he raised two beautiful strong women who can maintain vehicles, ride dirt bikes, hunt, fish, camp, and tackle anything that life throws at them. He loved taking his boy Ziggy, pheasant hunting whenever he could with his best friends Dennis, Pete, and Frank, so dearly. He never got to take his boy Zepplin out in the field like he wanted, but he had so much love in his heart for those big eyes and floppy ears. He loved his beautiful Blue Betsy the 1997 GMC Sierra Dually pickup that took us on all of our camping trips that it could. He did not want to give that truck up even with all of it’s flaws. He especially loved the annual camping trip to Michigan with his cousin Ricky his wife Karen and their girls Val and Tracey, to see Dorothy, Will, Charlotte and Gabba. He was the best dad we could ask for, any situation, any-time of night, no matter how many tears we had falling, he was there to make it better and put a smile on our face any way he could. He was amazing with children. It warmed everyone’s heart getting to witness him play and interact most recently with baby Aiden, Charlotte and Gabba. We his children only wish he got to see his future grandchildren to love them as deeply as he loved us. We know he will be their guardian angel always watching over us. We will forever remember him randomly singing to himself making up his own words to tunes; it’s memories like these we hold close to our hearts now and forever. We loved his ability to fix any household issue with his endless “Polish Ingenuity”. He even built his daughter Rachel a custom loft bed, and his daughter Toni a custom play-set in the backyard. You will be greatly missed by all the friends and family who’s life’s you touched.     Guest Book ShareEmail Print
