BEYOND HEAVENS BLUE DOOR

Roaring from the darkness,

Unleashed with one command.

He jumps right into peril

with no fear of mortal man.

Single-minded force of nature,

Launched in wingless flight,

Hudson gave his last full measure,

His own to save a life.

There was no hesitation

And no hatred for the man,

He moved with agile quickness

For the praise from Luke’s own hand.

Hudson gave his all for duty,

Gave his all for love.

He gave it all so willingly

Now protects us from above.

Never forget K-9 Hudson,

Nor the man he was named for,

Now they both live peacefully

Beyond the Heavens Blue Door.
