Virginia Margaret Clark-Lorenz, 66, of Batavia, died at her home Sunday, January 29, 2023. She was born on January 15, 1957, in Geneva, Illinois to Donald and Margaret Clark. She was united in marriage to Larry Lorenz of Geneva March 1, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ginny graduated from Batavia High School, attended Illinois State University, and retired from her enjoyable job as a rural route postal carrier in St. Charles. Ginny will always be remembered as the fun, cool aunt to her many nieces and nephews and by her cheerful smile and generous laughter. Family and friends appreciated the yummy kitchen creations that Ginny and Larry would share. Whether doling attention on one of her cats or engrossed in conversation with a friend, Ginny was genuinely caring and put the needs of others before her own. Virginia is survived by her loving husband Larry, Brother, John W (Karol) Clark of Batavia, Three Sisters, Anne (David) Leatherberry of Waukesha, WI, Amy Knudsen of Montgomery, AL, and Jane (Jeff) Grigg-Hauser of Troy, Michigan. She will be dearly missed by twelve nieces and nephews and sixteen great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
