Barbara S. Westfall

Barbara Ann Westfall, 60, of South Elgin, Illinois entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Barb was born on July 12, 1961 in Corning, New York to Frank Paul Saia and Emmagene Sweezy Saia.

She graduated from Corning West High School in 1979. Barb attended Corning Community College and went on to earn a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1983. Barbara spent much of her professional career in corporate retail buying and inventory planning roles where she thrived mentoring others, including her daughter Emma.

Barb is survived by her husband of 35 years, Timothy Andrew Westfall and beloved children, Andrew Frank Westfall, MD (Molly) and Emma Pearl Westfall. She leaves behind her beloved Labrador rescue, Roxie.

Barb was a loyal and devoted mother. She traveled with Tim to visit Emma in Rome as she studied abroad and Andrew in Dominica as he completed medical school. Barb enjoyed attending Loyola University Chicago basketball games to watch the Ramblers play and her daughter cheer. She was a generous philanthropist and enjoyed attending Hosanna! Lutheran Church with her family.

Visitation for Barbara will be held Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street, St. Charles, IL from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.  Monday, November 1, 2021, Barbara will lie in state at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, 36W925 Red Gate Rd, St. Charles beginning at 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.  Interment to follow services at Prairie Cemetery in St. Charles, IL.
