Adan Morales
December 19, 1954 - July 5, 2022 Adan Morales, 67, of North Aurora and formerly of Batavia passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Accent Care Hospice in Naperville. He was born to Rafael Morales and Rosa Flores in Izúcar de Matamoros, Puebla, Mexico on December 19, 1954. He came to the United States at the age of 20 to work and seek the American dream like many immigrants to this country. He returned to Mexico and married Cristina Alarcon Morales in 1978. Together, they traveled to the U.S. and began building a life together leading to the birth of their daughter, Sandy the following year. They settled in Batavia, IL while Adan worked as a machine operator at C&F Forge Co. for 40 years. Adan will always be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandfather, brother, uncle, and brother-in-law. He had an infectious smile and always made you feel welcomed. Adan loved Chicago sports, but he was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan. There was a time in his life when he would attend numerous Bears games alongside his nephew Jorge and brother-in-law, Tony. He is survived by his wife, Cristina, and daughter, Sandy (Theran), as well as his granddaughter, Celeste, and brother, Rodrigo. Adan was preceded in passing by both his parents, Rafael and Rosa as well as his brothers, Paulino and Santiago. Visitation will be held Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4-8 pm at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL. Funeral services will begin with prayers at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2022, from Moss Family Funeral Home before processing to Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street Batavia to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Memorial donations can be made to the Seasons Hospice Foundation or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. |
