Albert L. Olah

Albert L. Olah, of North Aurora, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2022, at the age of 90. He was born May 4, 1932, in Aurora, IL.

Albert was a Korean War combat veteran, where he served in the US Army. He was an avid fisherman. He started his career as an auto mechanic at Kane Ford in Aurora before he moved into the Heating and Cooling Industry in which he was a member of Local Pipefitters unions 319 and 501.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Mary (nee Maloney), a daughter Sue (Darren) Thibert, and son Tim (Jeannette) Olah. Four grandchildren Tiffany (Matt) Hartzler, Stacy (Ryan) Glenn, Jacob and Anthony Olah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

Memorial Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 801 Oak Street, North Aurora, IL.  Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Albert’s name may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church.
