Alta Welsch

Alta “Bobbi” L. Welsch, 71, of Aurora and formerly of St. Charles, IL passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora.  She was born March 23, 1950, in Chicago, IL the daughter of Everett David Laurenine Cornelia (Rutledge) Norgren. 

Bobbi met the love of her life Peter Welsch while attending High School in Franklin Park, IL.  They united in married May 1, 1971, in North Lake, IL and have shared more than 50 years of love, fun and affectation.  Bobbi was a wonderful mother who had great traits as a mother, wife, and friend. She always put her family and children first, but she was also always up for excitement.  She enjoyed motorcycles, camping, or just making the best party out of life while spending time with family and friends.   

She is survived by her husband Peter; three children, Jason (Camelia) Welsch, Lana (Mark) Notte and Sara (Eric) Burch; six grandchildren, Logan, Eric, Audrey, Alyssa, Adam, and Lauren; her sister, Cindy Bassett; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M.
