Betty Jane Anderson

Betty Jane Anderson, 96, of Batavia, IL. passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.  She was born February 19, 1925 in Batavia, IL., daughter of Jack and Grace (nee. Montgomery) Beckman.  She was united in marriage to Arthur Anderson on February 22, 1947 in Batavia, IL.

Betty was born and lived her entire life in Batavia, IL., where she was married and raised her family.  Betty was an exceptional person, loving and caring.  She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed taking walks and working puzzles.  She was a lifelong die-hard Cubs fan. 

She is survived by her seven children, Jerri (Darrell) Moore, Joanne (Bob) Lentz, Arthur (Donna) Anderson, David Anderson, Judy (Jim) Schonback, Robert (Denver) Anderson, and Jane (Tim) Brinker; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Anderson; her daughter, Janet Anderson; her son, Mike Anderson; her brother Richard Beckman, her granddaughter, Heather Anderson; and her great-grandson, Brandon Moore.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave., Batavia IL. 60510.
