Carl L. Beckner

Carl L. Beckner, 90, of Aurora passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Jennings Terrance in Aurora.  He was born February 17, 1929 in Aurora, IL the son of Carl and Irma (Behrens) Beckner.  Carl was united in marriage to Marion Miller September 8, 1956 in Aurora, IL.

Carl Proudly served in the United States Air Force for seven years during the Korean War.  He was employed as a draftsman at Vendo for many years.  He enjoyed playing golf and bowling with his friends. 

He is survived by his loving wife Marion; four children, Gary Beckner, Lori (David) Willyard, Dean Beckner, and David (Norma) Beckner, six grandchildren, Melani and Tiffani Beckner, Brandon and Ashely Willyard, and Desiree and Ariana Beckner; a brother Daniel (Shirley) Beckner,  and two sisters Marilyn Mueller and Judy Bryne; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty, Gene, Carol, Nancy and Earl. 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Faith Lutheran Church 3000 Liberty Street Aurora, IL 60502
