Carol Ann Grimm
 October 4, 1938 - December 7, 2022 Carol Ann Grimm, 84, of St. Charles formerly of Bartlett passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at her home. Carol was born October 4, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of Vernon and Irene (Kwasniewski) Mitchell. She was united in marriage to Roger Grimm on May 23, 1959, in Chicago, IL. Carol and Roger first made their home in Streamwood, where she raised her family. In 1989, they moved to Bartlett, and in April of 2022 together they moved to Carriage Oaks Retirement Community in St. Charles. Carol had a successful and interesting career in the financial banking industry where she worked in fraud investigation. Carol had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Carol was also an avid bowler who loved the game and the chumminess of her friends. Carol’s Catholic faith was an important part of her life, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Parish in Streamwood where she taught religious education. Throughout her life family was most important and she adored and cherished her time with her children, and grandchildren. Carol is survived by her loving husband Roger; four children; Mary Ellen Lai, Joan (Odell Deberry) DiFiore, Michael (Kathleen) Kristin (John) Levander; ten grandchildren, Nicole (John), Kelly (Tim), John, Janell (Jonathon), Annie, Megan, Sean, Meghan, Ben (Christina), and Rebekah; ten great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lilly, Franky, Ari, Nick, Johnny, Ava, Halley, Anberlin, and Selah; a sister Rosemary (Roger) Biernaki; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 12, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL. |
