Jan Celeste Moyers

Jan Celeste Moyers, 65, of North Aurora was called home to her Lord, Sunday, March 13, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Jan was born October 21, 1956, in Aurora, IL the daughter of Howard Charles and Jeanette Mae (Benson) Mount.

Jan was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  Jan was blessed with three children, and although her marriage to Thomas A. Moyers only lasted 22 years, they lovingly raised their children in North Aurora, IL.  Jan worked for First Student for more than 30 years first as a driver, then as the driver developer and safety supervisor, then as the supervisor of the training center.  

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved family, her three children, Jacqueline (Matt) Boyle, Joshua Moyers and Kasey (Jon Robertson) Moyers, her grandchildren, MacKayla Boyle, Maya Boyle, Jonathan Moyers Robertson, Javion Moyers Robertson, and Orion Moyers Robertson; a sister Kris (Ken) Evans a and a brother Scott (Sue) Mount; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.     

A funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  A private interment will take place in West Batavia Cemetery in Batavia, IL.
