Christine Helen Keiser

Christine Helen Keiser, 79, of South Elgin and formerly of St. Charles passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  She was born August 20, 1942, in St. Charles, IL the daughter of Edward and Elsa (Erickson) Dale.  She was united in marriage to Richard “Rick” Keiser.

Christine was employed as a travel agent most of her life.  Christine and her husband Rick were avid travelers who enjoyed seeing the world.  Walt Disney World in Florida was one of her favorite spots.   She was an active mother who put her boys first. She would be their transportation, their friend, their mechanic, their support, their cook, but most of all she was their mother who was always available to them. She spent countless weekends, and never complained, traveling with her sons either to Motocross races or BMX races.  Christine will be remembered for her selfless dedication to raising her boys and will be dearly missed. 

She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Cyndi) Childers of South Elgin, David Childers of Elgin and Greg Childers of St. Charles; four grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Verba, Sara (Matt) Valaski, Andy Polous, and Robert Childers; six great-grandchildren, Trevor and Giada Valaski, Kaiya, Ashlyn and Annabelle Polous, and Arthur Verba. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Richard Keiser and a sister Kathleen VanWey. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday September 3rd. at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL 60174.
