David R. Miller

David R. Miller of Cortland, IL passed away on March 29, 2021. He was born a really long time ago to Norma (Oslund) Michel & T. Russell Miller in Aurora, IL. He graduated Batavia High School in 1969 and became an electronics technician before it was cool. David is predeceased by his parents; his stepfather, Donald Michel; and his sister, Connie (Miller) Larrison. He is survived by his friend, Marilyn Grover; his daughters, Denise Smith, and Kimberly York; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Sophia, Hailey, and Mason; his siblings, Ronald Miller, Diane Kline, Kathy Zoellner, and Paul Miller; and his fur babies, Shadow and Tipper. David was full of sarcasm, loved off-color jokes, could fix most anything with bungee cords or duct tape. But most of all, he enjoyed gardening, loved his cats, and was a very proud Grandpa. His family will be hosting a Celebration of Life Open House on Saturday, April 10 from 3-6pm at Little Italian Pizza (373 E. Bailey Rd, Naperville). All are welcome to attend.
