David Lee Rozell
October 18, 1949 - November 25, 2019 David Lee Rozell, 70, of Woodstock, IL. and formerly of Aurora, IL. passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Sheltered Village of Woodstock, IL. David was born on October 18, 1949 in Aurora, IL., the son of Charles and Marion (nee. Bossler) Rozell. David was a sports fanatic when it came to his Cubs and Green Bay Packers. He was rare to be found without his Cubs or Green Bay hat on. He was known for being the family statistician and kept everyone updated on the scores, trades and current players of all his teams. He was a Special Olympian specializing in weight lifting and basketball. He achieved two of his lifetime goals: one, by living alone in his own apartment and two, getting a job at Walmart, where he worked for over ten years in Aurora, IL. David is survived by his two sisters, Linda (Charles) Arbizzani of Worden, MT. and Mary Ann (John) Fortman of Geneva, IL.; two nieces, Christine King, Cherie (Matthew) Binzen; his three nephews, Paul (Jamie) Arbizzani, Brian( Lisa) Arbizzani, and Gregory (Julia) Fortman; two great nieces and ten great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald Rozell and his special friend Sara. A graveside service will be held at River Hills Memorial Park at a later date. |
