David Thomas Moses

David Thomas Moses, 56, of Geneva and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away April 7, 2020 at his home.  He was born December 8, 1963 in Pittsburgh PA, the son of Edward and Marlene (nee Katavitch) Moses. 

David was a kind-hearted, determined man with a big sense of humor and an even bigger smile to match. Always putting his family first, he was there to provide and support. David never took no for an answer and had the mentality of “go big or go home”. With that, David held himself to the highest academic standard, graduating top of his class in both high school and college. David graduated from The University of Pittsburgh as the valedictorian of the school of Engineering. He then went on to pursue a career as the Vice President of Operations at Silgan Closures, white caps of America.

He is survived by his wife Carol Moses, of Geneva, IL, a daughter, Lyndsey Moses, of Aurora, IL his parents Edward and Marlene Moses of Export, PA; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Austyn Wysoglad; his sister, Maureen (David) Derry, of Irwin, PA, and two brothers Ed (Karen) Moses of Birmingham, AL and John (Karen) Moses of Mason, OH; three step children, Emily (Nick) Budden, April (Ancelmo) Velasquez and David Comperda; a step-grandson Elliott, and many nieces and nephews. 

With following the guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 all services will be held private.  Private funeral services will also be held in Pennsylvania along with the interment in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, PA.
