Diane Knutson Cooper

Diane Knutson Cooper, 76, of Westmont, IL, passed away on May 5th, 2022. Diane was born on January 16, 1946, to Donald and Harriet Knutson (Carlson) in Hibbing, MN. She is survived by her sons Kelly and Erik Martin and brothers John and Glen Knutson. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Emma, Julia and Sean Martin (from Kelly), and Taylor, Scarlet and Evelyn (from Erik). Diane earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s of Divinity (M.Div.) from the University of Chicago. In addition to raising her boys, Diane was a clinical social worker and realtor. She loved music. Her faith in Jesus gave her comfort. May God bless her and keep her eternally.  Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M Friday, May 27, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M.  The interment and committal service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Our Savior Lutheran Cemetery in Iola, WI.
