Donna L. Forni

Donna L. Forni, 83, of St. Charles passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.  She was born September 17, 1938, in Chicago, IL the daughter of Erik and Margaret (Lau) Schmidt.

Donna was an active member and enjoyed hanging out with the St. Charles Singles Club.  She also developed many longtime friends through the Lamplighters fellowship organization.  She enjoyed caring for her home and especially her yard.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and her adored grandchildren.  Donna was employed in the office at Dr. Robert Reeder’s for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her three children, Bruce Malesh, of St. Charles, Edward (Kim) Malesh, of Algonquin, IL and Brian (Roberta) Malesh, of South Elgin, IL; two grandchildren, Aden and Reilly Malesh; and her twin sister Diane Triebe. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John J. Forni.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL.  Visitation will be held 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Following the service interment will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva, IL.
