Edward L. Goschi

Edward Lawrence Goschi, 55, of Geneva, IL passed away on September 21, 2021. 

Ed was born in Chicago, Illinois at Northwestern Hospital on October 28, 1965, to Lawrence “Larry” and Beatrice “Bea” (nee Saal) Goschi.

Ed attended Northwestern Military Academy from 1976 to 1983, then to Felician University and eventually onto Loyola University.  He worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 23 years with the Board of Trade.  For the last 17 years Ed worked in manufacturing.  While work was important to Ed he found his greatest joy sailing, skiing, biking, snowmobiling, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Ed is survived by his mother Bea and his wife Mary.  He is also survived by his cousins Deborah, Peter (Barbara), Paul, Margaret (Bruce), Michelle (Mark); brothers -in-law, Mike (Colleen), Peter (Dede); sister-in-law, Stacy (Ernie).  Ed adored his nieces and nephews; Mathew, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Cecelia, Jacob, Lauren, Jennifer, Megan, Brian, Rebecca, Steven, Ryan, Anna, Nina, Daniel, Amanda, and Johnathon.  Preceding him in death is his father Larry; his Uncle, Nick; his Aunt Barbara; and his cousin Nickey.

A  funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 10:00 A.M., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 400 Cedar Street, St. Charles, Illinois.
