Einere Charlene Marshall

Einere Charlene Marshall passed away December 7, 2022 from complications of long-term dementia. Born February 24, 1934 to Einer Hansen and Fern Powers. She never met her father as he had just died and her mother went from his funeral directly to the hospital to give her birth. Named after her father, she was called Einere and began her life during the great depression. For a period of her life as a child, she was cared for by her Uncle Dutson and Aunt Isabelle Dales. This time included living with them and fostering a closer relationship with their cousins Audrey, Charlene, Janet, and Barbara. She initially lived around 30 years in Aurora, Il where her family connections included her uncle’s uncle: Phillip Moses of “Phillip’s Park who nephew was married to her Aunt Marion. Her last marriage was to Charles Marshall, who was the Chief of Police in Batavia, IL. While there, she was a member of Batavia VFW & Auxiliary Post 1197. When Charles retired, they moved from Batavia to Gordon, WI where she lived for the next 40 years. She was employed as a bus driver for the Northwood School District, Minong, WI for 36 years before she retired.
