Ellen Doede LeFevre
January 1, 1971 - August 5, 2020 Ellen Doede LeFevre of Batavia, IL., passed away August 5th, 2020 at the age of 49, in Aurora, IL. She was born on January 1st, 1971 in Arlington Heights, IL to Donald Doede and Carol (Keck) Doede. She was married to Brian LeFevre for 23 years. Ellen graduated from Elk Grove High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Valparaiso University. In 1994, she married Brian LeFevre. Ellen worked at MetLife for over 20 years, and she enjoyed the challenges of every position she held and the relationships she built were important to her. She loved to travel and was adventurous, always looking for things to do that most people her age wouldn’t do. She’d go zip lining, water skiing, tubing, jeeping, etc. She also had a passion for biking, always seeking out new paths. She was truly the best part of every adventure. The relationships that she had with her children were most important to her. She was a best friend as much as a mother. She had many people she cared about, but she always put her children first. If someone needed a shoulder, she would be there without a doubt; no person could ever replace her. Ellen also was very close to her eldest sister, Karen. She visited her in Colorado often. She loved it there; it was one of her favorite places, mostly because she got to spend time with her sister. Ellen and Karen had their differences, as any two siblings do, but rarely fought. She looked up to Karen and wished she could follow in her footsteps. Ellen will always be loved by many. She is unforgettable, and someone who you would want to know. She loved every single person she came in contact with. She will never be forgotten. Ellen is survived by her three children, Brooke (24), Kyle (20), and Mia (15), her stepmother Shirley (Bronson) Doede, her sister Karen Wagner, and her nieces and nephews, Jamie (Colin) Lane, Tiffany Kane, Jimmy Kane, Billy Kane, Mike Wagner, and Nick (Amber) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Doede and Carol Keck, as well as her late sister Connie Kane.
