Estelle Ann Lukasek
 April 22, 1926 - August 23, 2022 Estelle Ann Lukasek, 96, of St. Charles passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at River Crossing in St. Charles. She was born April 22, 1926, in Chicago, IL the daughter of John and Louise (Brandeis) Kowalczyk. She was united in marriage to Dr. Alfred Lukasek. Estelle was a dedicated and loving mother and wife. She adored her husband, Alfred, who was a physician and surgeon. Together they ran two successful medical practices in Oak Lawn and Evergreen Park. Estelle served as the office manager while Dr. Alfred worked as a license physician for more than 50 years. In their spare time they enjoyed caring for their large flower garden. Although Estelle loved and enjoyed her career her greatest accomplishment was caring for and supporting her children. She is survived by her two children, Linda Heller and Loretta (Kurt) Wandrey; three grandchildren, Lindsay (Kaiser) Clark, Jason (Lauren) Wandrey and Stacy Wandrey. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred, her son Robert Lukasek, her sister Florence Saluska, and her son-in-law, Floyd Heller. Visitation will be held 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 29, 2022, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 2900 East Main Street St. Charles, IL. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. following the visitation. Interment will be held privately at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago, IL. |
