Glenn Otto Ekstrom

Glenn Otto Ekstrom, 94, of Batavia and formerly of St. Charles passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 11, 2021.  He was born in St. Charles the son of Otto and Ellen (nee Carlson) Ekstrom.  He was united in marriage to Minette Catalano June 2, 1951 in Roselle, IL.  Glenn was born and raised as a farmer until he took his talents into automobile mechanics where he had a successful and fulfilled career.  He is survived by his; six children, Dean (Denice), Robert, Mary (Rod) Kielion, John (Brenda), Richard (Martha), and Thomas; 13 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife and his sisters, Marion, Genevieve, Ellen Olive, and Barbara.  A memorial service was held privately.  For additional information contact Moss Family Funeral Homes, 630-879-7900 or www.mossfuneral.com
