Harold Ray Fulk

Harold Ray Fulk, 82, of DeKalb, IL., passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb, IL.  Harold was born on November 6, 1937 in Iola, IL., the son of William and Stella Fulk.  He was united in marriage to Annabell Marie Fairbanks on December 4, 1956 in Booneville, MS.

He retired in the mid 90’s, from Cap and Seal in Elgin as an electrical engineer and maintenance foreman.   He loved blue grass music and could play anything with strings. In his retirement he would give music lessons on the guitar.  He loved camping and experiencing the outdoors, especially blue grass festivals in their RV.  They loved spending the winter months in their second home in Arizona.  For several years Harold and Annabell would foster teens through Fox Valley Foster Care.

Harold is survived by his daughter-in-law, Julie L. Fulk; one son, James Ray Fulk Sr.; two grandchildren, James (Michelle) Ray Fulk Jr. and Robert Fulk; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Annabell M. Fulk; his sons John L. Fulk and Michael E. Fulk, and his 11 siblings, Violet, Bill, Lauren, John, Audrey, Don, Jerry, Gene, Jim, Richard and Roger.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third Street, St. Charles, IL. 60174.  Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on, Tuesday, February 18, 2020 also at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Il.
