Loïc Henri Pin passed away on January 30, 2021 in Batavia, Illinois. Loïc was born on October 16, 2000 in Cazan-Vernègues, France to Frédéric Jean-Dominique Pin and Julie Ann Singleton Pin.
Loïc will be remembered for his kind and gentle manner, his loyalty and his unlimited capacity to forgive. He was an adventurous and industrious explorer as a child. He loved climbing and later became an avid skateboarder. Loïc was bright, focused and was a talented musician who played the trombone for many years and later, the guitar and bass beautifully. He had a wonderful, quirky sense of humor. He was helpful and handy, as well as brilliant, and was pursuing a career in the carpentry trades.
Loïc is survived by his siblings Charlotte and Julian, parents Julie and Fred (Kimberly Harris, Shane, Sarah, Derek, Grace, Kalyn and Logan), grandparents Michèle Pin-Monnerie and Bruno Pin, uncles Guillaume Pin and Jim Singleton (Mary Beth Fair Singleton), aunt Janet Singleton Gillen, and many step nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was taken from us too soon and he will be greatly missed. We trust he is safe and happy on his greatest adventure.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday April 11, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 S. Batavia Ave. from 1PM - 3PM. A Memorial Service will begin promptly at 3PM.
