Jacob A. Quane
September 20, 1982 - September 21, 2022 Jacob (Jake) A. Quane, age 40, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Jacob was born in Woodstock, Illinois, to David and Victoria Quane. He is survived by his father, David Quane, his sister, Jessica (Brian) Zeeck, and his three children, Claire, Charlotte, and Annabelle. Jake grew up in Batavia, Illinois, and attended Fenwick High School where he played for Fenwick’s hockey team. After high school, Jake attended Bradley University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science business. Jake would later go on to earn his master’s degree from Keller Graduate School of Management in accounting and finance management. Jake continued playing adult-league hockey during and after college, and he developed a love for working on and riding his motorcycles, using any opportunity he had for doing either. He had an abundance of love for his family, most noticeable when he was spending time with his three beautiful girls. He fully embraced the notion of being a “girl dad,” and prided himself on engaging with each of his daughters in whatever their interests were. Jake touched the lives of many people in many places, was incredibly loved as a son, brother, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
