James A. Benson

James “Jim” A. Benson, 86, of North Aurora, IL.  passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center of Aurora.  Jim was born on November 16, 1934 in Aurora, Il. the son of Ralph and Marjorie (nee. Krause) Benson.  He was united in marriage to Carole Zbilski on April 22, 2012 in Addison, IL.

Jim was beloved in life by his step-children and step-grandchildren. 

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Carole Benson; His two sons, David (Kim Levin) Benson and Donald (Laura) Benson; his two grandchildren, Jessica Benson and Aaron Benson; his sister, Mary (Robert) Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Helen Holtz; and his brother Kenneth Benson.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, Il. 60510.  A memorial service will follow at 12:00 P.M. also at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Il.
