John E. Lipinski

John E. Lipinski, 81, of Batavia passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home.  John was born August 11, 1939 in Michigan.  He was united in marriage to Martha Snedeker March 15, 1969 in Big Rock.

John was employed by the City of Batavia Street Department until his retirement.  In retirement John spent many days fishing on the Illinois River or the Mississippi River.  To fulfill his time John went back to work parttime at Louise White School as a lunchroom monitor.  John really enjoyed the children and his time spent at Louise White School he would build wooden crafts for the art classes.  

He is survived by his wife Martha, his son James (Ginger) Lidel; a grandson, Noah James Lidel, and two sisters, Barbara Berg and June Tharp. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marilyn Eutsey. 

Honoring John’s wishes there will not be any visitation or memorial services.
