John Michael O'Brien

John Michael O’Brien, 68, of Batavia passed away Monday January 24, 2022, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.  He was born March 6, 1953, in Chicago, IL the son of Bernard Thomas and Margaret Mary (Bukowski) O’Brien.

He is survived by his three sons, Daniel (Amanda) O’Brien and Brandon and John O’Brien; and his former wife and mother of his children, Genevieve Padula.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Thomas Christopher O’Brien.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will begin with prayers at 10:00 A.M. Thursday following the visitation from Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL before proceeding to Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 Main Street to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
