Josaine Murphy

July 7, 1943 - September 14, 2020

Josaine Murphy, age 73, formerly of St. Charles, passed away on Monday September 14, 2020 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was born July 7, 1947 in St. Charles to Heaney and Josie (nee Medzviega) Murphy.

Josaine will be remembered for the love of her cats. She was a loving sister and caring soul.

Josaine is survived by her siblings, Michelle Murphy of Elgin and Michael Murphy of Silverthorne, CO, as well as her niece Molly Murphy of Silverthorne and Molly’s daughter Cassandra. She is also survived by her cousins Denise (Dean) Ekstrom of Oregon, WI as well as Joe (Rose) Armstrong of DeKalb.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece Elizabeth Murphy.

Services will be held privately. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery in St. Charles.
