G. Joseph Finn

G. Joseph Finn, Jr, 76, beloved husband of 32 years to Jeannine Finn, nee Desaulniers, beloved son of the late 1LT Gilbert J. Finn and the late Rita Oates Finn Wogan, fond step-son of the late Thomas Wogan, dear brother of Maureen (Patrick) Driscoll, Tom Wogan (Maureen), Mary Ann (James) Heneghan, the late William Wogan, Rita (Tom) Lyons, Terry Wogan (Joyce), and Terese (Eddie) Heneghan. A loving step father to Jeannine’s children Jennifer Savarirayan Stedillie and David Savarirayan (Wanda). Fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Joe served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 as a Signal Corp specialist, spending 18 months in South Korea. He was a graduate of DePaul University and held various positions in communications technology, including as a teacher of young technicians.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 21^st at 11 a.m. at The Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL.  Internment services to be held at the Abraham Lincoln Veterans Cemetery in Joliet at a date to be announced later.
