Julia VanDerHeyden

Julia VanDerHeyden passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois.  Julia was born October 28, 1929, in Sint Gillas-Waas, Belgium to parents Fidel and Leotina Vergauwen.

Julia traveled in Chicago, Illinois June of 1954 to unite in marriage to George VanDerHeyden.  The couple was blessed with six children and shared 44 years of marriage together.

Julia is preceded in death by her husband George.  She is survived by her children Susan Smith, Diane (John) Howenstein, Marilyn (Mike) Kanak, Michael (Laura), John, and Ronald (Deneen) VanDerHeyden.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric, Nicole, Angela, Abby, and Ryan along with her great grandchildren.
