Khim Phommachanh, 93, of Elgin, IL. passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, surrounded by her sister and two daughters in the comfort of her niece’s home. Khim was born on March 1, 1928 in Laos. Khim never thought twice about putting someone else’s needs before hers. She was a true caregiver who devoted her life to her family and loved ones. She was a woman of worship and she was able to spend her life surrounded by loved ones. What brought Khim the most joy was tending to her garden, taking care of her family, and cooking alongside family and friends. She made sure everyone felt special and accepted no matter what. Khim is survived by her three children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. 3rd Street, St. Charles, Il. 60174. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 with prayers at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 A.M. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E Main St, St. Charles, IL 60174. Interment will be at Whitney Cemetery in Campton Hills, Il. |
