Klavdia A. Poloz

The family of Klavdia A. Poloz of Lake Geneva, WI is saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the age of 82.

Klavdia was born and raised in Belarus.  In 1989, Klavdia and her husband Nikolay packed all their worldly possessions and moved to America.  Leaving behind their family and friends they searched for a life where they could celebrate their religious beliefs and continue their lives together.  Shortly after their move to America their family followed.  Throughout the years the couple would call Skoie, IL; Addison, IL; Green Bay, WI all home.  These are the towns were lasting friendships were created and memories were made.  For the last 15 years Lake Geneva, WI was where they would call home.  As long as they were together, the couple was comfortable and happy.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Nikolay; children: Raisa (Vladimir) Gudel and Paul (Natasha) Poloz; grandchildren: Oleg Gudel, Ilona (Yuriy) Gumenyuk, Diana (Ivan) Tkach, Iliya Gudel, Daniel (Shab) Poloz, Michael Poloz, Anna Poloz, Andrew Poloz; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents: Andrey and Tessa Chernuk and her sister Barbara Marchuk.

Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 A. M. at the funeral home.  Interment services will be held in West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, IL.
