Margaret Mary Gibson, 98, of Batavia and formerly of Chicago passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Burr Oak Manor in Genoa City Wisconsin. She was born May 28, 1924, in Holyoke, MA the daughter of Charles and Helen (Haley) Casey. She was united in marriage to Richard Gibson May 3, 1958, in Holyoke, MA. She is survived by her six children: Daniel Gibson, David Gibson, Martin (Mary) Gibson, Kathleen (Mike) Dietz, Fr. Brendan Gibson, SJC, Marylyn Batory; twelve grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son John Gibson; and her siblings, Jean Kero, Edward Casey, Paul Casey and Helene McCarthy. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 29, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 Main Street Batavia, IL. Interment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. |
