Marie J. Murray

February 19, 1941 - November 19, 2019

Marie J. Murray, 78, a previous resident of Heritage Woods Retirement Community in Batavia and formerly a long-time resident of Marseilles, IL passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Alden of Waterford in Aurora. She was born February 19, 1941 in Oak Park, IL the daughter of Charles and Louise (Caruso) Runzo. She was united in marriage to James Edward Murray April 14, 1973.

Marie’s family and grandchildren were her priority. She enjoyed her special time with organized family rituals such as, Sunday church and family day, and holidays always spent as family time. She also enjoyed vacation excursions as she has visited all 50 states.

Marie is survived by her children, Rhonda (Greg) Wloszczynski of Aurora and Paul (Lori) Murray; four grandchildren, Brad Wloszczynski and Scott (Kristin) Wloszczynski and Alec and Taylor Murray; and a sister Jo Ann (Ron) Milchhoefer.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Avenue Batavia, IL.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church 2300 Main Street Batavia, IL. Interment will be held private.
