Marjorie Ann Pitz

Marjorie “Margie” Ann Pitz, 64, of Geneva, Il. formerly of Batavia, Il. passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Bria of Geneva.  She was born on July 19, 1956 in Aurora, Il. the daughter of Robert and Irene (nee. Beck) Pitz. 

Margie loved to play cards; “Kings in the Corner” and Gin Rummy were her favorites. She hated to lose and would always ask for another game if it happened. Margie loved the Chicago Cubs but hated football and grumbled at us when would we ask if she had seen a game lately. She loved small children and adored being an auntie. She had a sweet tooth; her favorite sweets being rice krispies treats, buckeyes at Christmas and German chocolate cake on her birthday. Margie always made us laugh and often made us roll our eyes. She will be greatly missed.

Margie is survived by her her four siblings, Shirley (Ron) Brown, Ralph (Jeanne) Pitz, Marsha (James) Castner and Bernard (Therese) Pitz; her nine nieces and nephews and sixteen great nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents.

All service will be held privately.  Interment will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery next to her parents.  In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marjorie’s name may be made to Bria of Geneva.
