Mary Barbara Reppen

Mary Barbara Reppen, Sr. 91, of North Aurora passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at her home under the wonderful care of her daughter.  She was born January 2, 1931, in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Frederick and Lucille (Matthai) Engler. She was united in marriage to Richard Joseph Reppen November 26, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI. 

Mary is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Bachelor of Nursing.  She loved to play golf and enjoyed reading. She was a die-hard fan of everything Wisconsin, she was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, and University of Wisconsin Badgers athletics.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, or just being in nature.  Family was by far the most important to Mary, she cherished and loved every minute she could have with family around. 

She is survived by her four children Richard (Deborah) Hall-Reppen of Geneva, IL, Robert (Kathy) Reppen of Otsego, MN, Mary Reppen of North Aurora, IL, and Peter (Katrinia) Reppen of Crestwood, KY; a daughter-in-law Sue Reppen in Palos Heights, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard J Reppen; a son Stephen Reppen, and a grandson Mason Reppen and a brother Frederick Engler. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.

Funeral services will begin with prayers 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2022, from Moss Family Funeral Home, before proceeding to St. Patrick Catholic Church 6N491 Crane Road St. Charles, IL to celebrate Mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in West Batavia Cemetery, Batavia, IL.
