Mary Lou White

Mary Lou White, 91, of rural Elburn, IL, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, December 12, 2020, in the comfort of her farmhouse following three major health issues this past year.  Mary Lou was born on May 31, 1929, in Aurora, IL, one of fifteen children, the daughter of Coach Johnny and Eleanor (Rogers) Williams.  She was united in marriage to John White, Jr. on September 1, 1951, in Batavia.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband, John; children, Cynthia (Fiancé Kent Brown) White, Margaret “Midge” (Bill) Haas, John (Stephanie), Joe (Bonnie), and Michael (Dulce Dizon) White; eleven grandchildren, Courtney (Kiernan Lannon) and Whitney Titus, Aaron (Debi), Jason (Kelly), Ryan (Jenny) White, Jennifer (Adam) Samuelson, Tyler and Ashley White, Bryan (Cassidy), Shawn (Morgan), and Nathan Haas; step-grandchildren, Shane (Charlene) Wood, and Danielle (Kevin) Riccardi; nine great-grandchildren, Kathleen and Nicholas White, Aidan, Ethan, and Abigail White, Noah and Julian Samuelson, Rhett White, and Makayla Haas; sisters, Shirley (Guy) Prisco and Patricia Lusted; brothers, Ben (Bobbie) Williams and George Williams; brothers-in-law, Paul and Robert White; many cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended family relatives.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial, Father Max Striedl celebrant, was held at St. Gall Catholic Church in Elburn.
