Michael W. Hill

Michael W. Hill, 75, of Batavia passed away October 25, 2021, at Delnor Community Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.  Mike was born March 21, 1946, in Aurora, IL the son of Erwin and Margaret (Hartman) Hill.  He was united in marriage to Carla Hill July 17, 1965, in Elgin, IL.

Michael had a passion and talent for restoring cars.  He was a longtime member of the Fox Valley Corvette Club. 

He is survived by his wife Carla; two children, Scott (Anita) Hill and Michelle (Dave) Burgwaldt; five grandchildren; Ryan (Cheyanne) Hill, Katie Hill, and Nick, Jordan and Grace Burgwaldt; two great-grandchildren, Rainah and Myles Hill; a sister, Lynda (David) Scaggs, many nieces and nephews; and his loving companion Bella.   

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Melody Schneider, Sue Smith, and Timothy Hill. 

Memorial visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 1, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.   In order to honor Michael's wishes, there will be no memorial service following the visitation.
