Michael Louis Kostal

Michael Louis Kostal, 78, of St. Charles passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at his home.  Michael was born January 3, 1942 in Chicago the son of Bill and Violet (Chaloupka) Kostal.  Michael was united in marriage to Harriet Vondrak October 19, 1963 in Chicago. 

Michael was a loving husband, father and friend.  He enjoyed the outdoors and the simple things of life.  When asked how he’s doing his favorite saying was “I’m vertical and ventilating”

He is survived by his loving wife Harriet; two children Mick (Jean) Kostal; Kristen (Fiancé Chuck Keller) Kostal; two grandchildren, Emma and Jack; a step grandson Branden Keller and many nieces.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Kay Haverkamp.

Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Friday, June 12, 2020 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home: 100 South Third Street, St. Charles, IL.  Due to restrictions surrounding social distancing standards of occupancy will be upheld.  To attend please be prepared to wear a mask and wait if occupancy standards need to be met before entering.  Interment will be held at 2:00 P.M. in Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park ; 9100 Archer Avenue Willow Springs, IL
