Nancy K Douglas

Nancy K. Douglas, 88, of Batavia passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Autumn Leaves in St. Charles.  She was born June 4, 1933, in Aurora the daughter of Matthew and Anna (Beckley) Kline.  She was united in marriage to Robert P. Douglas June 18, 1955, in Aurora, IL.

Nancy was a native of Aurora who graduated from West Aurora High School class of 1951. She had an enjoyable career on the administrative staff at West Aurora High School.  Nancy was a detailed oriented person who kept meticulous records using her perfect handwriting. An intelligent self-starter she learned her way around computers created many programs. Predominantly a homemaker she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She was also a devoted Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears fan, and in her spare time she enjoyed a few rounds of golf.

She is survived by her husband Robert, a son Mark (Sue) Douglas; three grandchildren, Andrew (Kirsten) Douglas, Emily Douglas, and Kaitlyn Douglas; one sister Judith (Mike) Pittard; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Beth. 

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday December 19, 2021, at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 South Batavia Ave. Batavia, IL.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M. A private interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery.
