Nancy Kay Marriner

Nancy Kay Marriner, 81, of Aurora, Il. formerly of Clear Water, FL., passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at her home in Aurora, IL.   Nancy was born on August 9, 1939 in Chicago, IL., the daughter of Jerome and Joanne (nee. Wahl) Schollmeyer.  She was united in marriage to Robert C. Marriner on July 17, 1970 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, IL.

Nancy was a devote Catholic, a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Aurora, and St. Catherine of Sienna in Clear Water, FL.  She served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered with St. Vincent DePaul for a number of years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who enjoy spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” C. Marriner; her eight children, Scott (Nadiya) Rice, Robert (Beverly) Rice, Mark (Deborah) Rice, Jeannine (Kenneth) Smith, Judith Rice, Bryan Klinkner, Tracy (Michael) Garlando and Charles Marriner; her fifteen grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; her four siblings, Michael, Penny, Jay and Gary; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Terry Marriner; and one grandson Jonathon Rice.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1820 Church Rd, Aurora, IL 60505.  Interment will be held privately at West Batavia Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Nancy’s name may be made to Vitas Hospice, 580 Waters Edge STE 100, Lombard, IL 60148, https://www.vitas.com/.
