Niki Elizabeth Rauba

Niki Elizabeth Rauba, 29, of Batavia, IL., passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  Niki was born on June 10, 1991 in Park Ridge, IL., daughter of Philip and Sharyl (nee. Kubinski) Rauba.

Niki was a breath of fresh air and always loved a good conversation.  Niki kept her days busy as a bank teller.  In her free time Niki loved to watch movies as well as her favorite anime.  She enjoyed anything Disney, writing and singing.  She had a beautiful voice that always made you smile and certainly will not be forgotten.  She looked forward to family gatherings and was eager to catch up with relatives.  Niki loved her role as an aunt never hesitating to play games or PlayStation with her niece and nephews.  With her friends she had a passion for conventions and Renaissance fairs.

Niki was survived by her parents, Philip and Sharyl Rauba; her two sisters, April (Thomas) Lanzara and Alyssa (Julio Alvarez) Rauba, her one niece, Melina Alvarez; her five nephews, Jacob, Braden and Colin Lanzara, Jules and Luca Alvarez, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Moss Family Funeral Home 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, Il. 60510.  A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 21, 2021 also at the funeral home.  Interment will be held privately.
