Patricia Ann Heimonen

Patricia Ann Heimonen, 70, of Big Rock, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at her home in Big Rock, IL.  Patricia was born on July 11, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI., the daughter of Richard and Eleanore (nee. Hajek) Suchy.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Andrew Heimonen on June 6, 1970 in Berwyn, IL.

Patricia was a compassionate person.  She was most at ease when she had someone or something to take care of; whether, it was her grandchildren as they were growing up or family members that came in from out of town for a visit. Her fondest moments were when she was with people.  She enjoyed the annual bonfire in October, Christmas or any summer day lounging at the pool with whomever would stop by.  She loved to travel, cook, and entertain.  She had the biggest heart and always put others before herself. Patricia- wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; you will be missed by all but forgotten by none. We love you.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Joseph Heimonen; her two daughters, Kristie (Raul) Jirik and Keri (Jeff) Brzeczek; her four grandchildren, Ryan Jirik, Luke Brzeczek, Ava Jirik and Brooke Brzeczek.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, IL. 60510.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:30 P.M. also at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be held privately at St. Gall Cemetery, in Elburn, IL.
